Performance Insights

Performance insights show the distribution of profiled audiences (selected users and baseline users) across Performance category modules.

Overview

Performance Insights reports enable you to compare profiled audiences across multiple performance insight category modules. Each module is represented by a distinct report that enables you to view the affinity of the profiled selected users and baseline users.

The Audience Insights console displays the following performance reports:

  • Yahoo Segments
  • 3rd Party Data
  • Yahoo Interest Categories
  • Advertiser 1st Party Data

Yahoo Segments

A Yahoo Segment is a category based on Yahoo proprietary data.

The Yahoo Segments report displays the distribution of profiled selected users and baseline users by Yahoo Segments.

Data may be sorted by affinity or alphabetically by selected users.

Yahoo Segments data includes all unique consumer IDs where we can determine user demographic information. Yahoo Segments data is derived from all Yahoo data sources and includes data verification by third-party sources. Yahoo Segments data excludes all users under 18 years of age before the distribution is calculated.

Third Party Data

The Third Party Data report displays the distribution of profiled selected users and baseline users by segments based on third-party data. Third-party segments are based on FACT data provided by DMPs.

Advertiser 1st Party Data

The Advertiser 1st Party Data report displays the distribution of profiled selected users and baseline users by Advertiser 1st Party Data segments.

You may view the top and bottom private segments.

Private segments may be selected by including or excluding MDM ID or segment IDs.

MDM ID The MDM ID identifies a segment by its master data management (MDM) ID number.
