Dynamic Product Ads Guide¶
Welcome to Verizon Media Ad Platform’s Dynamic Product Ads!
This guide is intended for DPA partners, developers and account managers. It serves as the source of truth for the combined documentation suites dedicated to DPA for the Native API and UI.
Use the guide as a toolkit to navigate topics and essential reference material, and to explore implementation details, how-to’s, case studies, FAQs and best practices.
This guide provides you with the basic steps on how to get started and what you need to know in order to take advantage of this new Ad Platform offering. For managed accounts, be sure to reach out to your Verizon Media account team for greater assistance in setting up and launching your catalogs and product feeds.
For Native API Partners & Developers¶
If you’re working with the Native API, you’ll need to apply for access and an API Key. The process is simple and straightforward.
Just fill out the form at Apply for Access.
Once you complete the form, you’ll need to create an app and obtain an API key and secret. See the section on Creating an app and obtaining an API key.
Once you have an API key and secret, explore the section on Navigating the Native API.
Next, you’ll want to study and understand the Verizon Media RESTful API objects – Ad, Ad Extensions, Ad Group, Advertisers, Campaigns, Keyword, Shared Site Link and Targeting Attribute – and their relationships in the v3 Verizon Media API data model.
Once you’ve worked through the topics in the API, navigate to the section in Dynamic Product Ads API for details on how to get started.
For Native UI Advertisers¶
To start advertising on Verizon Media properties, you’ll need a Native Ad Platform account.
Navigate to the Native Advertising main landing page.
Click the Sign up button in the upper right corner of the page.
Enter the required information in the panel to sign up.
If you already have an account, you can sign in, or create one if you don’t have an account. Then fill out the form that appears with basic information about your company.
Once you’ve completed the form, navigate to the topics in the section in Dynamic Product Ads UI for details on how to get started.
Account Manager Sync-up¶
Once you’ve applied for access and an API key, or signed up for a Native account in the UI, you’ll need to sync-up with your Account Manager, and be prepared to address some important questions before you get started, which are listed in Prerequisites.
