Carousel Ads¶

The Native Carousel offers advertisers the ability to tell a visual story by grouping up to five cards (images and captions) in a single execution. Each image that users swipe though can link to a unique landing page to drive deeper user engagement.

Carousel Ads can drive 2X to 3X higher CTR compared to single image ads.

Example¶

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

How-To¶

Follow these steps to create Carousel Ads:

  1. Create a Campaign with the objective set to VISIT_WEB or PROMOTE_BRAND.
  2. Create an Ad Group with a CPC or CPM bid for Native.
  3. Create an Ad object with an Assets array: - In your asset array ensure the type is set to MULTI_IMAGE. - Include your basic and HQ image in ImageURL and ImageUrlHQ. - Set the order of your images in the Index parameter.

Note

You are required to have a minimum of 3 cards per asset that can only be GIF, JPG or PNG formats with a maximum file size of 2MB. Your basic images must be 627x627 with a 1:1 ratio and your HQ images must be 1200x627 with a 1.91:1 ratio.

  1. Set all levels to Active. If the ad passes approval, it will be eligible to serve within 24-48 hours.

Required Fields¶

The following table defines the fields required when serving a Carousel Ad type:
